Our client, Eastern Waste Management Authority (East Waste) is a Local Government Regional Subsidiary providing safe, reliable, low-cost high-quality waste, recycling, organics, hard-waste and litter collection services to seven Constituent Councils namely Adelaide Hills Council, City of Burnside, Campbelltown City Council, City of Mitcham, City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters, City of Prospect and the Town of Walkerville.
About the Role…
Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Services, the Customer Service Officer will join a small, cohesive team and provide professional and effective assistance to key stakeholder groups of East Waste including Member Councils and residents. We seek a committed and communicative team player with a strong interest in the provision of exceptional service and an innate ability to respond to enquiries, complaints and requests with a high-level of professionalism, courtesy and resourcefulness. Skills and Experience…
It is expected you will have demonstrable experience in liaising with diverse stakeholder groups with a proven ability to proactively problem-solve, successfully negotiate and ensure a seamless customer experience. You will also be adept at providing strong administrative support where needed across all business functions and present with well-developed organisational capabilities and a result-oriented approach. Attention to detail and accuracy, along with a personable, calm and relatable demeanour will be significant contributors to your success in what will hopefully be a long-term career move. Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume customer service role will be highly sought after.
